My Dog Piggy

Hello everybody,

Since I wrote a post on my dog Leo a little while ago, I am going to make one on my other dog, Piggy. Piggy is a 5 year old Boston terrier that loves to cuddle, snort and sleep. I could not get a picture of her, but I found a picture on pixabay that looks like her, that you can see up above.  Normally Piggy is on the couch snorting or sleeping, but when she is not on the couch, she is probably outside on the deck, (because she doesn’t like grass) or she is waddling around the house looking for something to do. Sometimes if my family leaves her outside for to long, she finds a way to get out of our backyard and goes for a walk by her self. It king of scary though when you don’t know where she is for hours, but we always find her.

Unlike my dog Leo, Piggy is not so bad when we take her for walks. she does not pull (like my dog Leo) but  sometimes stops and refuses to walk forwards. She can be stubborn that way, because when she stops it means she wants to go the other way, but instead we end up picking her up and carrying her a couple steps but she normally starts walking after that.

Piggy wouldn’t be a very good dog guard, because if anyone walks into our house she starts jumping up and down on her two hind legs, and puts her front paws on the persons legs. She always gets so excited when someone comes, and after like 5 minutes and she is calmed down, she will stick to that person. So if you ever come to my house and Piggy is jumping up and down on you, I would not sit on the couch if I where you because she will sit or cuddle up to you and never leave ( That is if there is no food around of course.)

Overall Piggy is a very sweet  and cuddly dog, and I think she would actually be a great dog for a old lady because she loves sitting down and cuddling with people all day, and she doesn’t like walks very much.

Do you have a dogs at home?  If you do, please tell me about your dog  in the comments!  Goodbye and have a awesome day.

Sincerely, Abbey

  1. Hellozez Abbeyzz!
It’s Sarah. I noticed that you said you couldn’t get a picture of Piggy; I could help with that. I know how to do it, and if we can’t on your device, you could do it from mine. It’s possible, my Mom took a picture of a piece of my artwork with her phone then put it on my blog because my iPad had water damage at the time. (It’s fine now, though! Luckily!) Anyway, I wrote a post about my dog, Thor, on my blog. he does the same thing on walks as Piggy (stopping in the middle of the walk and wanting to go the other direction) except because Thor is a lot bigger than Piggy, we can’t lift him up. I’ve learned to bring a snack and a book whenever I go for a walk with Thor because when he doesn’t want to go that way, HE DOES NOT WANT TO GO THAT WAY. Usually I’m stuck sitting on the dirt for 5 minutes. Anyway, have a great day!

P.S, to read the post about Thor, here’s the link! http://sarahzz19.edublogs.org/2017/12/09/thor-my-doggy/

    • Hello Sarah,
Thank you for commenting on my blog! Well I am actually not entirely sure how to get a picture on from my phone (Somehow on my post about Leo I did though) but I guess I am fine with getting a picture that just looks like Piggy. It is a better picture then I could take anyway. I think I have already seen your post about Thor. He is super cute! (; That’s funny that your dog does the same thing as Piggy does , but I guess its more of a pain for you because you cant lift him up. When you are sitting in the dirt reading, people driving past you are probably wondering what the heck you are doing. Well that is all I got to say, so goodbye and have a awesome day!(see what I did there)
      Sincerely, Abbey

  3. Hi Abbey ,
I think your dog would be a great guard dog because she would kill them with cuteness powers or scare them with her snorting. I think piggy would not be good for an old lady because when she jumps up she might knock over the old lady and she might never get up again……………………………………………………………………………………………………………… I really like your dog she is super cute and cuddly.
    sincerely, Thai M.

    • Hello Thai,
Thank you for commenting on my post. I am glad you like my dog. I like your idea of Piggy killing the bad guys with her cuteness, but in reality she wouldn’t hurt a fly ( Although she ate one once). I think that she would be good for an old lady because she only really ever jumps on you when you come back from the house and Old ladys rarely ever leave there homes, unless of course she is one of those really fit old ladys… You should make a post about your dog!
Goodbye, and have a awesome day!
      Sincerely, Abbey
